Painting of the week: "Amour toujours" (love forever)
Kaddish to my dear departed ones,
I chose to illustrate the melancholy of the moment with life lines,
migrations of colour that emphasise the continuity of life through the message of love,
the parallel path of those who stand so close to each other but never meet,
filiation in the quest for love.
"Volcan dormant" (sleeping volcano), Rangitoto Island, Mission Bay,
my latest New Zealand landscape painting;
"Tiki au collier" (tiki pendant) from Maori-inspired series;
"Entre coeurs" (between hearts), an abstract.
